Michel Dussuyer predicts AFCON qualifier

Benin Republic coach, Michel Dussuyer, has predicted a ‘tough game’ when his team tackle Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the 2021 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier on Saturday evening.

Dussuyer also warned the Super Eagles that his team would create problems for them.

Dussuyer’s men will host Nigeria in the 2021 Group L AFCON tie at the Stade Charles de Gaulle in Porto Novo.

Benin are in the second position on the table with a point behind Nigeria, and a win will boost their hope of finishing on top of Group L ahead of Gernot Rohr’s men.

Why it will be difficult to pick list for AFCON qualifiers – Rohr

“It’s a great match. We have many respects for this team of Nigeria because it’s a big team in Africa, and we know what the danger is,” Dussuyer told Brila Net.

“They have very good strikers, and technically, they are very strong, so we expect a tough game, and we will do our best to create problems for this team and do get a good result.”

The kick-off time for Benin vs Nigeria is 5 pm.
