Former Arsenal supervisor, Arsene Wenger, has revealed that he rejected a possibility to coach Actual Madrid twice as a result of he was concerned in a challenge to construct a brand new stadium that will change Highbury throughout his time at Emirates.
Wenger defined that he was pleased with his choice to flip Actual Madrid down as a result of he confirmed dedication and loyalty.
“After I was a child, Actual Madrid was my group,” Wenger instructed EFE.
“I grew up watching [Alfredo] Di Stefano, [Ferenc] Puskas, [Raymond] Kopa, Santamaria, [Paco] Gento… They made an impression on me.
“I preferred Actual Madrid, and with the passing of time, I ended up dealing with them.”
“I nearly went to Actual Madrid on two events. Not many individuals can say that” he added.
“However I used to be concerned in a challenge to construct a brand new stadium that will change Highbury, and we had to finance it.
“We paid for all of it ourselves. Nobody helped us. We paid for it on the pitch and by promoting gamers excessive and shopping for them low cost.
“That’s why I didn’t go to Actual Madrid. I wished to end that challenge.
“I rejected a few of the greatest groups in Europe, and now I’m fairly pleased with that as a result of I confirmed dedication, loyalty and that I can get to the top of a challenge.
